We had such a great time getting pampered and checking out the hottest products in fashion that we asked the organizers to join us at Reviewer’s Retreat! Getting Gorgeous Events are about fashion, beauty and style for the everyday Mom. We work hard to give moms an opportunity to relax, be pampered and get gorgeous. It’s not something us moms (we have 6 kids between the 2 of us!) get the chance to do. Getting Gorgeous Events launched August 6, 2010 at BlogHer in the heart of New York City. Three-Hundred and Fifty influential mom, fashion and beauty bloggers were personally invited to the launch of Getting Gorgeous. Women had the opportunity to try out new products and get ready for their NYC weekend and sponsors had the opportunity to host product displays, demonstrations, supply on-site stylists, and mingle with some of the most influential women online.
Getting Gorgeous Events for Moms is the brainchild of friends Audrey McClelland and Vera Sweeney. It started as a “ah-ha” moment between two moms fully immersed in the fashion, beauty, celebrity and style world… and has turned into something much bigger.
